Energy management dashboard

See every kilowatt-hour your plant uses.

Metron puts meters on your transformers, generators and machines, and streams the readings to one live dashboard. You see where power comes from, where it goes, and what it costs, minute by minute.

Check your electricity bill

Compare the utility's bill with your own meter readings.

Metron records the same quantities your utility bills you for, at your own transformers. At the end of each billing period you get a reconciliation: energy, hours of supply and demand, side by side with the bill.

Your meters sit on the low-voltage side, so a gap of 1 to 3% for transformer losses is normal. Metron reports the difference and the expected range, so you only query what falls outside it.

What we monitor

Start with your transformers. Add the rest when you need it.

Every point you add appears on the same dashboard, with the same alerts and the same monthly report.

Transformers and grid supply

Load, voltage, current, harmonics and every supply interruption at each LV transformer.

kW · kVA · kWh · PF · THD · % loading

Generators and diesel

Running hours, output and diesel level, so you can see what each generator hour really costs.

kW · run hours · litres · L/kWh

Solar and inverters

Production per inverter against what the panels should give in that day's sunshine.

kWh · yield · actual vs expected

Water and RO

Tank levels, pumps, filter pressure, flow, pH and TDS for treatment and process water.

m³ · bar · pH · ppm

Machines and production lines

Energy per machine or section, idle running, and kWh per unit of output.

kWh/section · idle hours · kWh/unit

Temperature and cold rooms

Cold-room and process temperatures, with an alert the moment a door is left open or a unit fails.

°C · door-open time · alarms

How it works

Live in about four weeks, with no shutdown of your production.

01

Site survey

We walk the site, list each transformer and point to monitor, and confirm where the panel goes.

1 day
02

Installation

Meters and current transformers go in during a planned shutdown or quiet shift. We supply the gateway, 4G router and SIM.

2 to 3 days on site
03

Commissioning

We configure the dashboard and alarms with your team, then you test it for up to 14 days before sign-off.

04

Every month

Alarms reach you by SMS and email the moment a limit is crossed, and a monthly report covers consumption, costs and the bill check.

The dashboard

One screen for the whole plant, on web and mobile.

Screens from a live installation, anonymised. Every screen, graph and alarm threshold is set up around your site.

Live overview showing the single-line diagram, sources and load values

The live single-line diagram: which source is feeding the site, the load on each transformer, and today's energy.

Who it is for

Sites where power is a large share of the cost.

Factories

Plastics, food, cables, chemicals. Cost per section and per machine, and proof for every utility bill dispute.

Cold stores

Compressor energy and room temperatures on one screen, with alarms before stock is at risk.

Poultry farms

Ventilation, lighting and water in the houses, and generator cover during outages.

Commercial buildings

Offices, malls and hotels: consumption per floor or tenant, so costs can be charged back fairly.

How you pay

Pay monthly for a year. Then the meters are yours.

No large upfront hardware purchase. A fixed monthly fee covers the meters, installation support, connectivity and the dashboard. After twelve payments the hardware belongs to you, and you keep only a lower subscription for the dashboard.

  • One fixed fee per monitored point
  • Meters, gateway, 4G router and SIM included
  • Maintenance and replacements included
  • Dashboard, alerts and reports only
  • Month to month, cancel with written notice
  • Full data export if you leave

Each meter or sensor you add later gets its own twelve-month lease-to-own, then joins the subscription.

Alarms by SMS and email

Set your own limits. Metron tells the right person straight away.

Choose what counts as a problem on your site, how long it has to last, and who should hear about it. Each alarm goes out by SMS, by email or both, to as many people as you like.

Questions

What people ask before installing.

Can installation or a fault stop my production?

No. Metron only measures. The meters sit alongside your switchgear and a fault in the monitoring system does not affect your electrical installation. Installation is booked for a planned shutdown or a quiet shift.

Do I need to provide internet?

No. We supply and pay for the 4G router, SIM and data. You provide a mounting location and a power supply for the panel.

What happens during a power cut?

The meters keep their energy counters and record the exact time supply went off and came back. The gateway stores readings when the network drops and uploads them later, so there are no gaps in your records.

How do alarms reach me?

By SMS, by email, or both. You choose the limits (for example grid off for more than 2 minutes, a cold room above −15 °C, or a diesel tank below 25%), how long a condition must last, and who receives each alarm.

Who owns the data?

You do. You can export your full history in CSV at any time, and we provide a complete export if you cancel.

Can the readings be used to dispute a utility bill?

Yes. Metron logs cumulative energy, maximum demand and every outage with timestamps from class 0.5S meters, which gives you a record to put next to the utility's meter readings.

Can we add meters and sensors later?

Yes, at any time. Each new point is quoted separately, goes on its own twelve-month lease-to-own, and appears on the same dashboard.
